Any piece of glass that is larger than 8 by 8 should be hung from the actual window frame with additional lenths of chain and a large cup hook. 

Suction cups will stay up much longer if a tiny amount of any type of oil is applied,  followed by a quick wipe with a paper towel.

I do not advise using any ammonia base product to clean your piece.  If you have a larger 3-D piece, you can run it through the dishwasher ( alone ) on the shortest cycle with a tiny amount of your regular detergent.  Smaller pieces can simply be washed in hot soapy water and rinsed well.  In all my pieces I have finished them with a high quality wax....  I have found that car wax works well also!

In all stained glass lead is involved in the construction.  Some pieces are framed in lead came.  Please be aware of this and do not allow children to play with any piece as they may put it in their mouths.
On the reverse side of this caution.... I have handled lead extensively,....I had a clear lead test in  2009.  But still wanted parents to  be aware.
